Airbrush tanning is performed using a solution that contains the active ingredient DHA (Dihydroxyacetone). While DHA is generally recognized as safe and is FDA-approved, this approval is limited to external use only and requires precautions to avoid contact with mucous membranes.

The FDA recommends asking the following before receiving a spray tan:

-Are your eyes and the surrounding area fully protected?

-Are your lips and all other mucous membranes shielded from exposure?

-Are you adequately protected from inhaling or ingesting the solution?

If you answer “no” to any of these, you are not fully protected under FDA guidelines. Please request appropriate protective measures to ensure your safety during the tanning session.

You will be escorted to the spray tanning area where you may undress to your comfort level. Full nudity is permitted for clients 18 and older or with parental consent. Disposable undergarments are available upon request.

The tanning solutions used are formulated for cosmetic use and are generally considered safe. However, allergic reactions can occur. If you have any known allergies, please review the ingredient list and consult your technician. Patch tests are available upon request.

If you are tanning for an important event (wedding, prom, photoshoot, etc.), we strongly recommend scheduling a trial session at least two weeks prior to your event.

Pregnant or nursing clients should consult with a physician before receiving an airbrush tan. Although airbrush tanning in a well-ventilated area is typically not contraindicated, every pregnancy is unique, and your doctor may advise otherwise.

We advise against tanning over any recent sunburn or peeling skin caused by sun exposure or cosmetic treatments (e.g., lasers, chemical peels). If you proceed, you do so at your own risk. Luminous Lounge LLC is not liable for adverse results from tanning over compromised skin.

Airbrush tanning products do not contain sunscreen and will not protect you from UV exposure.

Luminous Lounge LLC is not responsible for any damage to personal items or clothing during the tanning process.

By signing below, I acknowledge and accept the above statements. I agree to allow Luminous Lounge LLC to apply airbrush tanning solution to my skin. To my knowledge, I have no medical conditions or allergies that would prevent me from receiving this service. I agree to hold harmless Luminous Lounge LLC and its technicians from any liability or adverse reactions that may occur. I understand that tanning results may vary and no specific outcome is guaranteed. If I am dissatisfied with my results, I agree to contact Luminous Lounge LLC directly.

All sales, services, and subscriptions at Luminous Lounge LLC are final. By purchasing a service, package, or subscription, you agree to the following terms:

No Refunds – No Exceptions:

We do not offer refunds for any reason, including but not limited to: cancellations, missed appointments, dissatisfaction with results, schedule changes, or unused services.

Subscription Terms:

All monthly subscriptions are billed automatically and will continue until canceled by the client. Subscription payments are non-refundable, including partial month usage.

Rescheduling & Cancellations:

Clients may reschedule appointments within the allowed timeframe, but failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the session. No refunds or credits will be given for no-shows or last-minute cancellations.

Service Results:

Spray tan results may vary based on skin type, preparation, and aftercare. Our technicians provide guidance to help ensure optimal results, but we do not guarantee specific outcomes.

By completing your purchase or booking, you acknowledge and accept these terms. Thank you for respecting our policies.

Consent to Use Photographs

I, the undersigned, hereby grant Tiffany Loyola of Luminous Lounge LLC and its agents, employees, and assigns the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use, publish, and copyright my likeness in photographs and/or video recordings taken during or following my spray tan service, for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to promotional and marketing materials, social media, advertisements, and websites.

I understand and agree to the following terms:

Usage: Photographs and/or video recordings may be used in any manner and media, including but not limited to print, digital, or online platforms, and may be altered or edited at the Business's discretion.

No Compensation: I acknowledge that I will not receive any financial compensation for the use of my images or likeness.

No Obligation: I understand that the Business is not obligated to use the images or recordings, and my participation is voluntary.

Revocation: I may revoke this consent at any time by submitting a written request to Luminous Lounge LLC, but revocation will not apply to any uses of my images or likeness that have already occurred prior to such revocation.

Release of Liability: I release Luminous Lounge LLC from any claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise from the use of my photographs and/or video recordings as described above.

Confirmation: By signing this form, I confirm that I am over the age of 18 (or have parental consent if under 18), and I agree to the terms and conditions outlined above.

All cancellations must be done 48 hours+ in advance in order to avoid penalties. This allows me to accommodate other clients and schedule accordingly. Clients who do NOT SHOW up for their appointment or cancel in less than 48 hours, will be charged the full service price. If you need to RESCHEDULE, please contact me as soon as possible, I will do my best to find a new time that works for you. To confirm your appointment, a valid credit or deposit will be required. This card will be used for any applicable cancellation fees. All deposits are NON REFUNDABLE if you fail to comply with our cancellation policy. If you do not pay a deposit, the full amount will be charged for your service that is booked. For your convenience, all appointments can be canceled or rescheduled through your email confirmation or on the scheduling app.

Parties of 4 or more will have to cancel 2 weeks prior. If anyone in your party cancels last minute, the remaining balance will still be at your discretion.

To ensure the best possible results and maintain the longevity of your tan, clients must follow the preparation and aftercare guidelines below. Failure to do so may affect the outcome of your tan and does not warrant a refund or service re-do.

Before Your Appointment (Preparation Guidelines):

• Exfoliation is required 24 hours prior to your appointment, focusing on dry areas like elbows, knees, ankles, and hands. Avoid oil-based scrubs or exfoliants.

• Shaving or waxing should also be done at least 24 hours in advance to avoid skin irritation or streaking.

• Skin must be clean and dry upon arrival. This means no lotion, deodorant, makeup, perfume, or oils on the skin.

• Wear loose, dark clothing to your appointment. Tight clothing can interfere with the development of your tan.

• Plan accordingly – avoid tanning over sunburns, cuts, or open wounds. Luminous Lounge LLC is not responsible for poor results due to compromised skin conditions.

• Spray tanning while on your menstrual cycle or certain medications may affect your color development. Please consult with your technician if you have concerns.

After Your Appointment (Aftercare Guidelines):

• Wait the recommended time to shower:

  • Signature Tan: Wait 8-12 hours

  • Rapid Tan: Rinse after 1–5 hours (specific time will be advised by your technician)
    Do not exceed the recommended rinse time to avoid overdevelopment.

• Your tan will fully develop within 24 hours. Final color may not be visible immediately after rinsing.

• For your first shower: rinse with water only (no soap, scrubs, or shampoo).

• After your first rinse, avoid hot water, long baths, or heavy exfoliation to prolong your tan.

• Moisturize twice daily with a fragrance-free, tan-friendly lotion. Hydration is key to a long-lasting, even fade.

• Avoid chlorine, saltwater, excessive sweating, and bar soaps – these can cause premature fading or patchiness.

• Pat skin dry with a towel after showers. Do not rub.

Failure to follow these prep and aftercare instructions may result in uneven, blotchy, or quickly fading tans. Luminous Lounge LLC is not responsible for undesired outcomes caused by improper preparation or post-tan care.
